Massage Minute #43
Today is not yesterday: we
ourselves change; how can our works and thoughts, if they are always
to be the fittest, continue always the same? Change, indeed is
painful; yet ever needful; and if memory have its force and worth,
so also has hope.

Yet taught by time, my heart has
learn'd to glow
For others' good, and melt at others' woe.

Great information for a common condition. Long
neglected and unsuccessfully treated by the Medical community, FMS
patients have found relief in the good hands of educated and
compassionate LMTs.
Written by one of my personal mentors, Art Riggs, this series starts off with
some essential advice for all therapists. This one is a two-for-one, with
additional advice from another favorite, Erik Dalton. A classic article with
timeless advice!
This was a great find for me. This article brings together several studies and
research involving massage and it’s efficacy in Sports and Athletics. This is
great to hand to Doctors and Athlete-Clients.
You’re welcome!
Short and sweet article by Mr. Sports Massage
himself, Bob King. This is a good, condensed review of the QL.
Especially check out the technique on page 4. YUM!
Until next time, therapists!
