AuriculoTherapy : Home Care
Auriculotherapy and Auricular Ear Seed Therapy was first used in
Asia, then further researched and scientifically developed in Europe.
Auriculotherapy is accepted by the World Health Organization (WHO) and
approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a safe, precise
and effective form of pain & stress management.

After the Auriculotherapy session, press balls or acupoint seeds
will be affixed by a tiny surgical-grade adhesive tape to reflex points
on the ear that will assist you with the healing process. The seed type
(vaccaria, titanium, gold or silver) determines which effect; grounding,
sedating or stimulating, it will have with the corresponding point(s).
Please follow the suggestions below for best results:
- Ideally, the seeds should remain in the ear for 5 days.
- A mild amount of soreness (reactivity) should be experienced the
first 24 hours. If the irritation persists, then it is suggested to
remove the seeds with soap and water.
- It’s recommended to squeeze and press the seeds 3x/day to
reinforce the reflexive effects of the seeds.
- You may wash your ears as usual, but be mindful not dislodge
them while drying.
It’s natural for some seeds to fall out before others.
- On the fifth day, use water and soap to remove any remaining
seeds from the ear surface.
